how does your garden grow?

My creation

well actually. it's been a beautiful and bountiful year for the garden...from my heirloom tomato darlings to four kinds of basil, pineapple sage, rapini, peppers, beans, peas, and a whole lotta flower love. it's delightful and delicious and keeps me occupied while i'm not working at a job in my field of interest, and being completely torn about what to do with my life.

i also planted watermelon, but it's too late and it won't fruit, but for any budding gardeneurs reading this, i have sugar baby and gold bug melon seeds -- both heirloom varieties. delicious..and seedy.

what not to do when you are stressed out and there's a fly buzzing around your room while you're trying to concentrate

use room deodorizer and a lighter as a flame-thrower to torch the sucker in mid-air.

caution: may leave scorch marks on lampshade.

the mysteries of travel

group leap

Can there be love for a place
without love for the people?

It doesn't really matter
what you saw,
or even what you learned...
but what you felt.

of strange birds, pine nuts, and foreign languages (also known as 'things that distract me from my essay')

another one bites the dust

Airbus A-320: 1

watch out for flying asparagus spears...

It's the middle of the summer and I find myself here writing the last, LAST essay of my undergraduate degree...and I'm feeling strange, and even reluctant to part with it...so to speak. Did anyone else experience such conflict and crisis in transitioning from school to nothing? If so, please share...it makes me feel less alone.
